Snow, snow, and even more snow

Well, we got our first big dumping last week, and we've gotten more these past couple of days.  It was bad last week, it took a while for the city to get the snow plows out...there ended up being something like 50 fender benders.  We're supposed to get something like another 15 cm.

I can't think of anything else to post...how sad. :(  It's been how long since my last post, and I can't think of anything else to say.  Sigh.

Well, just to avoid rambling on about absolutely nothing at all, I'm going to leave now.

Cheers!

Is It Green...or Purple?

There is a very simple reason for the title of this post.  I ended up having to return my lovely green iPod, because it suddenly stopped working on me (not an uncommon occurrence, apparently.  Both the girl at customer service, and they guy in Electronics said that their's did the same thing).  It ended up being the last green one they had, and there was no way I was getting bright fuscia/pink, so I opted for purple.

Well, that's about the only reason for this post, so...

Cheers!

Just thought I'd let you know how midterms went...

Thermo went absolutely horribly...the class average was in the mid-40's

Diff actually went better than expected...we haven't gotten it back yet though, so I don't know how it really went, but I'm expecting somewhere between 70 and 80

Numerical was quite easy, but we haven't gotten it back yet either

Umm...what else....  oh, Inorganic went a lot better than I expected too...especially since it was on a Friday and the textbooks came in on Thursday...the questions were all directly from the end of chapter questions...it was quite a cram session Thursday night, let me tell you

Organic chemistry didn't go as badly as it could have, (hmm..seems to be the case with most of my midterms...gasp...maybe I actually know what I'm doing!) the only thing bad about it was the fact that it was on a Saturday morning... there were only a few questions that I had to leave mostly blank

I haven't had my last one yet...it's on Nov 10...I'm not sure how that one is going to go...it's the class that I have to miss on Monday nights, and I only get the handouts... I just have to make sure that I have all the handouts...and find out which things the prof considers "five star"...the stuff that we definitely should know for the midterm

Let's see...I think that's all there is you tell you about for now. Oh, I finally broke down and bought myself and iPod the other day.  That was quite a session as well...re-downloading and installing iTunes on my laptop, and then reloading all of my music.  Once it's in the computer, it actually doesn't take very long to copy it over to the iPod.  I got a green Nano one, 16 GB...  hee, hee...it's my first MP3 player...

Okay, I think that's really it now, so I'll sign off...

Cheers!

Sweet...it worked...

Oops, just realized I forgot to sign off the last post...

Well then,

Double Cheers!!

Okay, this is kinda cool.  I'm publishing to my blog remotely.  I was downloading Live Messenger, and there was a list of other programs I could choose to download at the same time.  One of them was called Live Writer, which allows you to connect to your blog and post remotely.  I hope it works...let me try to post this and we'll see. (Oh, my laptop is finally back...and it seems to be working properly.  Yay!!)  Okay..time to test out the actual publishing part...

I thought that having my mom's boyfriend's laptop would be great. I now love the fact that it's a tablet P.C. (I took my notes for 2 classes on this today instead of in my notebook). But now it's getting annoying. I have to start up the Internet at least twice because it always freezes up the first time. I almost lost my notes for one class because the computer froze before I could save the file and I had to restart it. Grrr.... I can't wait for my laptop to be fixed. And, it keeps losing the wireless connection for some stupid reason. Piss me off.

Friday, October 03, 2008

I have discovered something, I really dislike Diff. Eq. Like, really, really dislike it. Sigh.

Boom dee ah dah, boom dee ah dah, boom dee ah dah, boom dee ah dah...damn Discovery Channel... I always get that song stuck in my head after I see that commercial. I love it though. It's such a great commercial.

Okay. I don't know what's going on with Amazon, but I've been trying to check-out for the past 5 minutes. It's having issues connecting... hang on a sec... there, that's better... I had to go back a page and try again. Here's hoping I ordered the right books, they didn't have a picture of the one I ordered, but I'm pretty sure that it's the one I need. They didn't have a picture of the solutions manual either, so here's hoping that one was right too.

I'm beginning to kinda like this tablet thing. Except when I write kinda and they see it as kinder. Cool there. But I would never be able to take notes with it - unless there is a program somewhere that I haven't found yet. I don't even want to think about what this thing would do if I tried to write mathematical equations. Did I say that in my previous post? I don't remember.

Well, I think I might try to get some actual work done. At least, that's my intention, don't know if it'll happen or not, but that's the intention.

Cheers!
This is going to be interesting. My laptop is going in for repairs and I'm going to be without it for 3 weeks. I managed to convince my mom's boyfriend to lend me his, which is a tablet P.C. This means that I'm not actually typing this entry. I'm using the pen and actually writing. It's taking a little longer than typing because the computer doesn't always recognize what I type... (for example, "I type" was first entered as Hype). Sometimes it takes a while to make the computer understand what I want to "say".

It's still pretty cool though.

Cheers!

Something just occurred to me...I'm not sure if I explained my choice of colour scheme.

Do you want to know? Too bad, 'cause I'm going to tell you anyway.

The reason why I chose green, and why I type in green (besides the fact that it's my favourite colour) is that I'm Irish. This also explains why my comments in brackets are in orange; the colours of the Irish flag are green, white, and orange. So now you know.

Cheers!
I just found this blog by a guy calling himself Bilbo. It turns out that his address is pretty much identical to mine, you just have to replace my name with his. I just wanted to let people know (including him, if he finds his way here) that I had no idea his blog even existed, let alone what the address was, when I set up this blog. I don't know if anyone really cares, but I know that some people do, so I just thought I'd put that out there.

Cheers!
ok, i think my brain just exploded. Numerical methods is just waaaayyyy to boring. The first week he talked about binary, octal, decimal numbering systems, and how to convert from one to the other, and I thought to myself "we know this from Electronics and Electricity"...now he's moved on to linear systems and matrices and stuff, and i'm like "okay...this is algebra, and you are making it hard" you should see the way he does gauss and gauss-jordan... gah!! but wait, there's more... we have to do matlab stuff, but the IT people didn't get enough licenses, so not everyone can log into it at the same time (meaning tutorials are pretty much useless), and he wants us to convert matlab programs into C programs...which wouldn't be too bad if you can get into matlab and see what the program does...it's harder when all you see is the code with no real idea of what it does....

I'm not going to be able to go to differential equations today, I am waayyyy too tired to pay attention to anything the prof says...i'm just going to end up staring into space.

I can't think right now... I need a nap.

Cheers!

Monday, September 22, 2008

Not sure if this one is going to make it or not...my mom should be here shortly to pick me up.

Hey... I'm up over 100 posts! Cool!

Crap..now I've forgotten what I wanted to post about.

Oh well, Cheers! anyway...

Tuesday, September 16, 2008

I've tried a couple of times to update you on stuff... but my laptop keeps crapping out on me. Hopefully it'll behave.

It turned out that changing that one class meant a conflict for 16 - 17 of us, most of us because of Inorganic chem, and others because of an overlap with a lab. They have now rescheduled the engineering class, to 4:30 - 7:30 on Monday nights. I have choir practice that night. I asked the prof if he would mind if I just came long enough to grab the handout (he makes a handout of all the overheads he's going to teach from that week) and leave. He said that would be okay, just to make sure that I connected with someone to see if he added anything, or if he told us anything we have to know for exams. He takes attendance though, so I might go and talk to him again and see how that's going to work.

Everything else is going pretty well. I have a couple of assignments due on Friday, but apparently they're pretty easy. I have a two hour break this afternoon, so I'm going to try to get some work done on them. At least, that's the plan. Whether that happens or not is another thing (it's hard to stay focused on homework when there is a TV in the room, and you have a laptop with free wireless internet access ;) ).

Cheers!

Wednesday, September 03, 2008

Yay... back to free internet access...

Today is the first day of classes, and already they've f'd up my schedule. Chemical Engineering has two different "streams" you can go into -- you can do the 'Environmental' option, or the 'Extractive Metallurgy' option (trust me, this is going somewhere) This year I could take the first of the option courses for the Extractive option, so I registered for it, and what do they end up doing? Scheduling it at exactly the same time as Inorganic Chemistry, which is a required course for the program. What kind of sense does that make? And it's not the Engineering department's fault... the secretary didn't know anything about the conflict until today, it was the Registrar that for whatever reason decided to change things around. Nice of them to do this without notifying the Engineering Department. I think there are 12 of us that this affects (at least, that's what I heard) and the secretary wasn't too sure how they were going to fix the problem. Wonderful, just wonderful.

There is a reason why I'm going back to school.... there is a reason why I'm going back to school... Is there a reason why I'm going back to school?

Cheers!

Monday, May 12, 2008

Hey, almost forgot to tell you: I got all my marks back and I passed everything. It was kinda close for a couple of courses, but I still passed.
Well, this is kinda cool... I'm at home right now, and I don't have the internet, and yet I'm online and posting... hee hee hee... gotta love it when people don't secure their wireless connection... hee hee

I watched Alien VS. Predator: Requiem earlier today, and here's a thought: Alien Predator or Predator Alien? You decide.

Cheers!

Monday, April 21, 2008

I just finished writing my programming final and let me just say that it could have gone a whole hell of a lot better. Grr. I think I did well enough in the course to pass though. At least, I hope I did.

Last one is Wednesday. That's electronics and electricity. It shouldn't be too bad, and I have a previous exam to study from. After that, I'm not going to be posting as often (I know, so what else is new, right?). The reason being that I don't have internet at home, and I don't know how often I'm going to be able to get to a computer that does have it.

Well, I gotta get moving.

Cheers!

Friday, April 11, 2008

Just finished writing my algebra exam. It wasn't too bad, and I'm not too worried about it. I think I got about 60% on it, give or take, which doesn't seem all that good until you take into consideration the fact that the lowest mark that I've gotten on all the in-class tests has been 80%. (Well, that's not exactly true, but only 3 of the 4 tests count, so I didn't really try on the fourth one)

Now I just have to go finish a few other assignments that are due. Unfortunately, this means walking through really crappy weather to get back to the car. le sigh

Cheers!

Thursday, April 10, 2008

Well, that could have gone better. Of course, it could also have gone a lot worse. If I'm lucky, I pulled off a 50% on the exam. I don't know if that's going to let me pass the course or not, I sure hope so. It was sooooo different from the practice test that he made available. I mean, I know it's not going to be exactly the same, and there were a couple of very similar questions, but some of the other stuff...man. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I was going to wait around until a few other people I know came out, but now I just feel like going home, so I think that's what I'm going to do.

Cheers!
Okay...that was really...weird. I tried to log in to post, but got a message saying that I had to change my cookie setting in order to log in. This is strange, because I haven't changed any settings since getting my laptop and I've been able to log in before. I didn't change anything, just thought that I would try logging in again, so I hit the back button a couple of times and lo and behold I'm suddenly logged in, like my first attempt actually worked. Like I said, very strange.

Well, only a few more hours left until I write my calculus exam. Wish me luck. I think I'm going to pass it. At least, I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass it.

There's also only a few more days left for me to have hair. I went this morning and dropped off my money; I managed to collect over $600. I also want to make arrangements to donate my hair, I think I just have to tell someone at the event that I want to donate it.

Well, I'm gonna go finish eating my lunch and then I'm going to look over my calculus some more.

Cheers!

Thursday, April 03, 2008

I can't believe that it's almost the end of classes. It seems like I still have so much to do (which I should really be working on instead of posting this). My birthday went pretty well. My grandparents couldn't come over for dessert, but that's okay. They are both sick, and I'd rather stay away from sick people at the moment, I don't want to be sick for any of my exams.

My mom gave me some hair products, which I'm not really going to be able to use, but that's okay. My hair will eventually grow back.

Well, I'm kinda starting to feel guilty about not working on anything, since I'm sitting beside three people who are.

Cheers!!

Monday, March 31, 2008

Wow, hard to believe that it's the last week of classes already! I'm almost done my first year. Hopefully I won't have to take calculus during the summer, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Tomorrow is my birthday. Yay... kinda. I feel so old. (And no I am not telling you how old I'm going to be) I had a bunch of people out playing pool the other day, it was a blast.

The last thing to tell you is that I'm going to be going bald in about 2 weeks. I'm doing the Vale-Inco "Shine for the Cure". It collects money for cancer research. This year, the money is going towards prostate cancer research. I'm not sure if they make wigs out of the hair or not. I need to decide if I'm going to freak out my hairstylist before I get it done by asking for a donation, or if I'm going to freak her out afterwards by going to visit her after it's done. (And if you think I'm going to post before and after pictures, you can think again)

Cheers!!

Better Late Than Never

Well, thanks to browser issues, this post is going to be a day late, but like the title says, better late than never, so here it goes.

Erin Go Braugh!!

Which translates to Ireland Forever!

Happy St. Pat's everyone!!

Cheers!!

Tuesday, March 04, 2008

I am undecided whether I should be saying "OMG, is it really only Tuesday?", or "OMG is it already Tuesday?" The reason being I have a bunch of stuff due tomorrow, and I've got about half of one thing done. Shouldn't take me too long to finish everything up though. I hope.

I can't believe it's already March. Where has the time gone? There's only about a month left in this term, and then finals. That's a really scary thought.

Okay, now that I've scared myself, I have to go eat some chocolate.

Cheers!

Friday, February 29, 2008

Happy Leap Year!!

I am soooo glad it's Friday, but then again I'm not. I've got quite of bit of stuff to do next week, so I'm going to have a pretty full weekend. Oh well. At least it's the weekend.

I'm in class right now, so I'm going to have to cut this short.

Cheers!!

Thursday, February 28, 2008

Yay! Yahoo is back! I'm not sure why I couldn't log in, but they were able to fix the problem.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008

Okay, not really sure what happened to that last post. It looked all formatted as I was typing it. It's supposed to be dark green, large, and Times. It's not any of those things.

Well, cheers anyway, I guess.
Well, we got those physics midterms back the other day. I didn't do as bad as I thought I did, though, mind you, I still didn't do the greatest. I thought I was going to fail miserably, but as it turns out, I managed to get a 50. Not the greatest, but at least it's a pass. That, plus the fact that it's only worth 10% and there's another midterm means that a 50 isn't as bad as it could be. I can't find my course outline, but I think the prof has a couple of ways to tabulate our final mark, depending on how we do on each midterm and the final, so it might not count as much.

I didn't do quite as well on my calculus test as I thought I did, but I still got 60% on it, which is so much better than what I got on the first test. With this class, we only count 3 of 4 tests, dropping the lowest, so hopefully I can do fairly well on the other two tests so the first one can get dropped.

This week seems to be going by fairly quickly. I can't believe it's already Wednesday. February is almost over! It's just a little over a month until my birthday. God I'm old.

Cheers!

Tuesday, February 26, 2008

Well, Hotmail seems to be working again, but still no word about Yahoo. Hopefully their help center will get back to me soon. Grrrrr.....
Okay, Yahoo is being incredibly annoying. I have had the same email address with them for years and years and years, and now, all of a sudden, I can't log in. I'm being told that I'm using an invalid ID and/or password. Piss Me Off.

And now Hotmail is being stupid! GAH!!!

Isn't this kind of stuff supposed to happen on Mondays?

Friday, February 15, 2008

Ok, that physics midterm officially sucked. Completely. They can just burn my paper for all I care.

On the plus side, it is now the longest possible time between classes. I am now officially on STUDY BREAK!! Hoo rah.

Cheers!! (and drinks all around!)

Wednesday, February 13, 2008

Hey, this is my 80th post! Cool!

Well, I was wrong about the movie, or the one I saw at least. I decided to see "Fool's Gold". It was actually pretty good, I really enjoyed it. It was kinda like a chick-flick version of 'National Treasure'....kinda. I feel a little sorry for one of the actresses though. The character she played was a real ditz/bimbo/really stupid (like 'OMG she's giving me a headache' stupid). I'm afraid that people are going to think that she's really like that.

Only three more days to survive before my reading break. I'm not sure if I'm going to make it.

Cheers!

Tuesday, February 12, 2008

Sometimes I wonder why I even go to class. Didn't really learn much today, he just went over a sample program that was in the textbook. oh well. We were even pointing out a few mistakes he made as he was typing it up, and made a few suggestions about ways to improve the program, in case there are any changes in the input file like. At least it shows that we are learning something.

I am so bored and tired. I'm zoning out as I'm trying to concentrate (I just had to think way too hard about how to spell that word) on writing something that at least kinda makes sense. Gah! I wish I could just go home, but I can't. And to top it off, I have to go out tonight. Because I'm going to see a movie. A chick-flick. Yay me. Can you sense the enthusiasm? No? Good, because there isn't any. Not right at the moment in any case.

Okay, I'm really zoning out here so I'm going to leave before I start typing absolute nonsense.

Cheers!

Saturday, February 09, 2008

No, I am not in class, but I am at the school. I had a midterm this morning. Yuck. I discovered something while writing that midterm. It's really hard to concentrate when you have Michael Buble songs going through your head. I was listening to one of my CDs while driving in, and ended up having the songs stuck in my head.

I'm pretty sure I at least passed the midterm. It may not be much of a pass, but I'm pretty sure I passed it.

Okay, I'm like, starving, so I'm off in search of food.

Cheers!!

Friday, February 08, 2008

Why is it that there never seeems to be enough time to do everyting you need to do. Maybe I just need to learn better time management. I have so much stuff to worry about. I had a test, an assignment and a lab just today. I didn't get the assignment done, but I have an hour to get the lab done. I have a midterm tomorrow, a test on Monday, an assignment Wednesday, a midterm Thursday, and a lab and midterm on Friday. Phew. At least after that I have a week off. Yay!

I think I did okay on my test. It was calculus. There were only a few questions I'm worried about. There was one of them that I missed the lecture for, so I had to try to learn it from the textbook when I was doing the practice questions, and I think I mixed some stuff up for another question. Oh well. Hopefully I'll at least get some part marks.

I love algebra, but sometimes the class is kinda boring, like today. I guess I'd better stop doing this and start paying attention. Do I really have to? sigh.... If I must. I really need to stop blogging during class.

Cheers!

Thursday, February 07, 2008

I really shouldn't be doing this right now, I am in class and all, but I am soooooo bored it's not even funny. I'm in my programming class. It's not that it's hard or anything, but he has to go sooo slow for everyone to understand the concepts. I mean, I know that sometimes programming isn't the easiest thing to understand, but really. I've done programming before, so I understand everything, or at least, it doesn't take me long to catch onto a concept, so having to sit here while he explains things for people who don't understand..... I think I'm gonna cry. Like, we have weekly assignments and stuff that we have to do. This week's has four programs that you have to write. (It's not so bad, they're pretty small, and the first three are pretty much identical). I was able to get the first one done (and so most of the rest of them) during yesterday's class, and I just finished fixing up the fourth one.

Gah... I made the mistake of stopping to actually listen. Sometimes his explanations make things more confusing. I'll end up confused about something that I understood.

Anyway, I should sign off before I get caught at this. The guy sitting next to me already noticed that I was blogging.

Cheers!!

grrrr.... grumble.... stupid C++..... stupid Office.... grumble, grumble....

GAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

Thank-you, I needed to get that out of my system. I'm trying to write a program in C++ that converts Fahrenheit to Celsius, and it's not working properly, and I haven't the slightest idea why.

I'm also complaining about Microsoft Office, because, for some mysterious reason, everytime I open it up it "locks" or something... like, I can't type anything... it's so stupid!!

Sigh. On the plus side, I had a kick-ass weekend this past weekend. I went down to Toronto with a bunch of women. We did some shopping on the way down and the way back up, and on Saturday we went to see a show at Stage West. It was sooooo good! And the neatest thing is that the theatre is connected to the hotel, so you don't have to worry about getting around Toronto. You go for dinner before the show too. Here's the set up: you make your way to the theatre shortly before 6:30 when the doors open (First come, first serve). They take you to your seats and you get to go up to the buffet. They close the buffet and do a last call from the bar around 8. You then stay in your seat and watch the show. It's really cool! And the way they have the seating set up, there's no bad seats. (From what I could tell anyway. I didn't go up to the balcony, so I can't say for sure about that.). The play we saw was a 70's revue, so there was lots of great music. The audience was good too, got right into YMCA. I'm really glad I went. I spent way too much money, but I'm glad I went.

I'm starving, so I'm going to leave you now and go eat lunch.

Cheers!!

Friday, February 01, 2008

Good morning people. I'm not sure why I bothered coming in today, I still feel like crap. I've been home for the past two days. I kinda had to come in today though, I've got a bunch of stuff to hand in. I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm going away to Toronto for the weekend. A bunch of us are going to Stage West to see a play. It should be good, it's a 70's revue. I think we're stopping to shop on the way down and on the way back as well.

Today's the big day. Today at 10 am is when the Elton John tickets go on sale. A bunch of people have been lined up outside the arena since 5 am yesterday. Good luck to them. Chances are the tickets are going to be sold out before 40 of them get up to the window. Most people are going to be ordering them online. I say they'll be sold out within the first 10 minutes. The only way that I'm going to the concert is if I win the draw that I entered. I heard this morning that ticket prices range from $98 to $140.

I've got one or two more posts for you. I got a bit bored laying in bed the past couple of days, so I wrote up a few posts in Word to copy and paste into here.

Cheers!!

January 30, 2008

Well, this is new. While you are currently reading this particular post as you normally would, it is being written in WordPad, on my lap, or rather, my laptop. It is a very interesting experience. I might take advantage of this again, it gives me the chance to write things down as they come to me (you have no idea how many times I've thought of something to write in my blog only to have it disappear before I had the chance to post it).

Why is this post being written on my laptop instead of just posting directly? (No, there is no answer that you can give that will result in me not telling you). The reason is that I stayed home from school today, and so had no access to the internet. Unfortunately, while my laptop is wireless, all of the networks that it can pick up from my house are security-enabled.

That's pretty much all I wanted to say. I just wanted to tell you that's it's now easier for me to ramble on and on about completely random things.

Cheers!!

Hey, maybe I'll make that my sign-off....hmm... I like the sound of that.

January 31, 2008

I thought that today’s blog post would come to you direct, but apparently I was wrong. I’m still laying in my bed, typing this up in Word on my laptop. I’m feeling better than I was yesterday, but seeing as I’m going away this weekend, I thought it best to play it safe. I hate it when you get sick, or your sickness gets worse, when you go away; it takes all the fun out of being away.

I’m so bored that I’m going to start rambling on, so I’m going to leave while I’m ahead.

Cheers!!

(Wow, this turned out to be a really long post)

Tuesday, January 29, 2008

Well, I should be in class right now, but I really don't feel like going, so I'm not. Instead I'm sitting in the Engineering lounge, writing to you wonderful people...and dowloading some games.

Okay, there was a reason why I came on here, but in switching from this to keeping an eye on the download, to checking out which episode of Stargate is currently playing on T.V., it seems to have slipped my mind. Damn it.

Hey, some BIG concert news!! Sir Elton John is coming to town! Yes, the Elton John is coming. Unfortunately, my budget won't let me get tickets. What, with going to see Michael Buble, and buying my laptop, I just don't have the money at the moment, especially considering the ticket prices. They range from something like $87 to $120! A little too rich for my blood right now. sigh Oh well. He's only doing two concerts in Canada too, the other is in Kitchener.

Still can't remember the real reason why I wanted to talk to you. I'll probably remember while I'm in my next class, which I am going to. Probably. Just kidding, it's a really boring class, but I guess I'll go. It's one of the only classes this term where my laptop will come in handy. (there is another one, but the stupid prof finds them 'distracting', so we aren't allowed to use them. you need one in there too, he goes through his slides way too fast to take any real notes, and he doesn't want to post anything up on the net)

Well, my coffee is getting cold, and with all the commercials playing, I'm getting hungry.

Cheers!!

Friday, January 25, 2008

Hmm, let's see, what do I have to tell you about.... well, I survived my first term. Physics was my lowest mark (surprise, surprise) but even then I managed to pass with a 67. My highest mark was an 84, so I'm pretty happy. I'm not to sure about one of my classes this term. I think Calculus will be the hardest. I was exempt from the first half of calculus because I already took it, but that was like, 8 or 9 years ago, maybe even more. That is so coming back to bite me in the ass. I should have taken it last term, then I wouldn't be having such an issue with this Calc. class. On a happier note, I think te rest of my classes will be okay. I have Linear Algebra, which I LOVE and am so looking forward to.

What else is there? My Christmas break was good. I got a bunch of stuff that I really wanted, including a body pillow and a really nice purse.

I went to see Michael Buble the other day. One of his tour stops was here. It was such a good concert! I loved it! My friends and I were sitting pretty much as far back as you could get, but we were square to the stage, so it wasn't too bad, especially since the venue wasn't the hugest ever. He puts on a really good concert, very entertaining. If you ever get the chance to go to one of his concerts, I highly recommend it, it would be a night you will never forget.

Only one other thing to really tell you about -- I am currently typing this post while sitting in the engineering lounge, connected to the internet wirelessly (is that spelt right?). How is this possible you ask? Well, yesterday I became the proud owner of a brand new laptop. Yay me!!

Anyway, I got class in a few minutes so I better get going.

Hee, hee... sorry... still giddy over having the laptop.
